Portuguese Iliad in Hellenic lands.
Όμορφη Θεσσαλονίκη (Omorfi Thessaloniki) is the collection of works created by artist Godmess in the city of Thessaloniki in northern Greece.For 10 months the artist traveled around the country, serving the European project EVS Erasmus +. Where through several adventures, developed as a personal project an artistic residence inspired by Greek culture, identity, and contemporary reality. There were 21 interventions performed in the city streets using the pasteup technique. Technique where large format prints on paper were affixed to the walls creating a unique artistic route throughout the city. Interventions with images and sketches created by the artist using his visual identity. 21 interventions plus 2 illustrations that were later adapted to the gallery space, to be presented in their diversity to the public, and to bridge the exterior and the interior space, in two exhibitions one in Greece and other in Portugal.
